I had a seriously busy mothers day weekend.  Which is why the latest episode review is late getting up.  (That and the fact that I watch these things online, rather than  from a TV, and CBS was late getting the episode on the web).

At any rate, My review for What Was Left Behind is here

And now I need to get my paranormal article written an posted.

I went to see my sister and neices this weekend.  The 4-year-old is playing T-Ball.  She’s a tom boy, quite a bit like me and my sister were.  But she has a pink batting helmet, pink bat, pink glove and a pink equipment bag.  Maybe that’s my sister’s way of balancing things out.

The baby is still the cutest little girl in the world.  It helps that she’s the sweetest, happiest baby in the world.  Also the wiggliest.  If I so much as looked at her, she would smile and laugh.  My aunt held her through most of the game, and I was relegated to picking up her teething ring every time she dropped it, and cleaning it off with a wet-wipe.

I think she made a game out of it.  Drop it.  Watch auntie pick it up.  Watch auntie clean it off.  Wait for auntie to hand it back.  Drop it again.  laugh. repeat, repeat, repeat.

I just realized how long it has been since I’ve taken pictures of anything.  I really should get back into the habit of carrying a camera.  I suffer from retired pro photographer syndrome, I think.
