Second drafts won’t rewrite themselves.

Best friend called today to let me know that the director liked our makeup job saturday.  I was also invited to go out wednesday night and be a zombie for the final night of filming.  Tempting, but I’m actually working on my second draft of last years NANOWRIMO novel, with the help of  .   In […]

It’s the Redneck Zombie Movie Hour!

My best friend works with a talent agency in Fayetteville, Arkansas to find acting, singing and modeling jobs.  She’s been working on a low-budget, direct-to-video zombie move for most of the last week.  On saturday, she invited me to come help her with doing zombie movie makeup.  Since she is my best friend, I figured: why not? Zombified, yet again.

Back during soonercon, I was an extra in an as-of-yet-in-production viral movie for Yard Dog Press as a zombie.  I thought that was the end of my stellar zombie career, but it turns out that I was wrong. Things that make me laugh.

It’s been an amusing morning. Timelord of the rings (Comic strip) . Cracked.com’s take on Supernatural.  The Flow Chart for female characters is sadly accurate. The show’s creator is Eric Kripke, who wrote the screenplay for the 2005 movie Boogeyman. He was offered creative control of a TV show in exchange for a promise to […]

I should be in bed

It’s 2 A.M.  I should have been in bed hours ago. Instead, I’m updating book reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I’ve been meaning to do this for a while.  The entire Prophecy of Swords Series and both of the newest Double Dogs have been sitting on my desk taunting me. Begone books of reading past!  […]

Tranquility Galleys are done!

I just turned in the final copyedits for the galleys for Bride of Tranquility.  The book should be ready by Dragon Con. And the villagers rejoiced!  Or at least I did.
