  1. You went to Wal-Mart on Thanksgiving Day?!? Well, today is probably better than Friday. If you thought it was a Zoo today, just think what it will be like tomorrow.

I watched the Macy’s parade here as well. Even though we do have Macy’s in the KC area now (took over Dillard’s I think), I didn’t even think about shopping. I was watching the floats, balloons, etc. I’m sure Macy’s would like people to shop there after the parade but to me that’s not what the parades are about.

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and enjoy the rest of the holiday.

Watching the parade was more of a nostalgic thing for me. I wanted to see who they put on the giant turkey this year.

Yes, I went to Wal Mart the night before Thanksgiving. There was an employee dumping three crates of green beans into the vegetable bin. I told my Mother in Law: Looks like everyone is having green beans tomorrow. The lady with the green beans started giggling.

There is no way in the world that I want to go into Wal Mark on Black Friday. You couldn’t pay me.
