Monday Musings: One more Shill

Written By: Tracy - Nov• 29•10

I’ve taken a break over the holidays from my computer. Partially because of some cold symptoms and partially because of some neck pain. I gave the neck a bit of time to rest and I feel better. If you sent me an E-mail prior to last Wednesday, I’ll do my best to answer it before the end of the day.

Today is known as Cyber Monday, the Internet equivalent to Black Friday. If you are cruising by as you search E-Bay or Amazon for deals, consider looking in on my publisher, Yard Dog Press. YDP has several Cyber Monday and holiday deals on their reading selections. If you like mashups, they’ve got a great list of zombie/redneck/apocalyptic books that you may enjoy. If you like variety in your reading, the Double Dogs give you two great books for one low price.

If you are looking for great books that you can give to your kids this year, Bev Hale has several great titles including The Essence of Stone and The Happiness Box. For a really unusual stocking stuffer, try her cookbook Texistani: Indo-Pak food from a Texas Kitchen.

Finally, don’t forget my own books: Tranquility and Bride of Tranquility. For a short time, I’ll offer my own deal. Order any Tranquility book between now and Christmas and I will send you a sneak peek of the first two chapters of It Came to Tranquility, the third Tranquility book in the series, which I am now writing.

Please note: That’s only if you order the books through Yard Dog Press.  I’ll get your information directly from Lynn at YDP and send the chapters directly to you. If you order Tranquility and Bride of Tranquility through Baen, you can take advantage of the YDP bundle instead, which is both Tranquility books along with both Four Redheads of the Apocalypse books for one low price of $20.

Happy shopping guys!
