It’s October! It’s October! It’s Halloween! If you’re taking your favorite ghosts and goblins out trick or treating, or you plan to sit in a pumpkin patch all night and wait for the great pumpkin, why not take along this podcast?
This month, we bring you two stories in the spirit of Halloween — or at least one story in the spirit of Halloween, and one story in the spirit of dressing up in disguise.
Melanie Fletcher presents Sabre Dance, a story about a soldier who must pose as a belly dancer to infiltrate a palace and rescue a princess. Melanie also has a short story titled “Tied With a Bow” coming out in a Christmas erotic romance anthology from Evernight Publishing this December.
Then Robin Wayne Bailey brings us three poems from his collection Zombies in Oz, and Other Undead Musings.
Both books are available from Yard Dog Press, along with many other books suitable for Halloween, including It’s The Great Bumpkin, Cleetus Brown, The Alamo and Zombies and all of the Bubbas of the Apocalypse anthologies.
For more zombie poetry fun, why not check out Robin’s youtube videos of his dramatic readings?
Robin also has just self-published an original horror novelette as a Kindle exclusive. It’s called PAYDAY. You can find it here.
In other news, Brad Sinor and Tracy S. Morris (Hey! That’s Me!) have sold a short story to the Grantville Gazette titled It’s About Time: An Ode? The story is the fifth in their Dennis and Betsy stories. You can find it at grantvillegazette.com
